You may be wondering, why anyone would decide to give their website such a nonsensical, hard to pronounce, confusing name like prejectedjokes. And that is a great question, one that I probably should have considered when I was picking a name, but, alas here we are. Don’t get me wrong, there was some thought behind the name, emphasis on some. The idea being that, in the past, late night comedy shows, like SNL and Late Night, allowed writers to submit jokes to be read at the top of the show or during segments like Weekend Update. Unfortunately, shows like that no longer take/read unsolicited jokes, leaving me shit-out-of-luck. I continue to write, knowing that these jokes become rejected the moment they are written, thus they are prejected jokes. I agree, I probably should have chosen a different name, but let’s not dwell on it. These are completely free monologue jokes, use them as you like. Pretend like you thought of them and impress your friends, I don’t care. If for some reason you want to get in contact with me you can reach me at email@example.com. That’s it, I’m done, enjoy.
